Returns and Exchanges Policy

If you're looking to return your order, we're here to help! We offer easy returns within 14 days of receiving your order. You can return your product for a refund minus a €100 return fee* to the original payment method.

Please note the following exceptions to our return and exchange policy:

  • Returned product(s) must be returned in original packaging or sufficiently repackaged so that no damage occurs during return shipment
  • Returned product(s) must be unused and have no visible signs of wear

To initiate a return or exchange, please complete the following steps:

  1. Email our customer service team at webshop.italy@alfalaval.com with the following information:
    a. Order number;
    b. pick-up address of the Ordered Goods being returned, with contact name and telephone number;
    c. specific list of the Ordered Goods being returned;
    d. number of pallets being returned;
    e. weight and dimensions of each pallet;
    f. reasons for the withdrawal;
  2. Alfa Laval will start the necessary activities for the restitution, and will send to the Customer an e-mail, stating the figure of the Amount Refunded in case of Withdrawal;
  3. afterwards the Customer will receive an e-mail from the courier chosen by Alfa Laval, including a bill of lading and a shipping label;
  4. the Customer will send back to Alfa Laval the Ordered Goods being returned, using the provided label;
  5. within 10 business days after the Ordered Goods being returned are received back by Alfa Laval, and subject to inspection of the current conditions of the Ordered Goods being returned, the Amount Refunded in case of Withdrawal will be credited on the credit card that the Customer used for the payment of the Price.

Lost or damaged items

In case the Ordered Goods were lost during the shipping stage, or were delivered damaged, the Customer shall report such fact within 8 days, otherwise forfeiture will occur. This 8 day terms starts from the Delivery Term in case of loss, or from the effective date in which the Delivery has been carried out in case of damage.

Once the loss or the damage during the Delivery of the Ordered Goods has been ascertained, Alfa Laval will proceed to replace them as soon as possible.

Defective product

Alfa Laval warrants that the Ordered Goods object of the Contract shall be free from defects and flaws for a period of 12 months from the Delivery.

The warranty granted by Alfa Laval covers exclusively the mechanical working of the Ordered Goods, which are sold without any minimum yeld warranty.

In case defects or flaws were noticed in one of the Ordered Goods, the Customer shall report them within 8 days from their discover, otherwise forfeiture will occur.

Should the existence of a defect or a flaw in one of the Ordered Goods be confirmed, Alfa Laval shall have the faculty to decide, at its unquestionable discretion, if repairing or replacing them.

It is understood that the right to warranty will cease in case of untimely report to Alfa Laval of the defects or flaws, or if the Ordered Goods already underwent repair activities or in any case any other fixing by persons not referable to Alfa Laval.

The warranty period for repaired or replaced parts is 12 months from the repair or replacement date, but in any case, shall not exceed 24 months from the Delivery.
