Alfa Laval raadt met koper gesoldeerde platenwarmtewisselaars of shell & tubes-warmtewisselaars aan voor koeltoepassingen. Kopergesoldeerde platenwarmtewisselaars behoeven geen onderhoud en bieden een efficiënte warmte-overdracht met een kleine voetafdruk.
Shell & tube warmtewisselaars zijn ontworpen voor airconditioning- en industriële koelsystemen voor koelvloeistoffen. Ze bestaan uit een reservoir met traditionele buizen of buizen met een verbeterd oppervlak voor hoge thermische prestaties.
